The Michigan Collaborative for Type 2 Diabetes (MCT2D) data dashboard displays health information for all patients in Michigan who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. After the initial launch, the dashboard was in need of major updates to both the user interface and overall user experience.

I worked with the team to host 40+ feedback sessions with MCT2D participants to understand how they were using the dashboard and how it could be improved. This feedback was collected, analyzed and synthesized into a set of recommendations accompanied by mockups, which were shared with the development team.
